      thanks for stopping by
 a little bit about me:

My most recent adventure was cofounder and CTO/Head of AI @ JAMM proudly working with Guiam Wainwright. In the past, I've collaborated with brilliant researchers at the Adaptive Computing Lab advised under the inspirational Professor David Hsu in Singapore. This is after receiving my Master's at Brown University where I had the tremendous pleasure of conducting research under Professor Stefanie Tellex at the Human To Robots Lab

Inspired by cognitive science, my research has mainly focused on the interaction of psychology and machine learning algorithms, resulting in work on reasoning under uncertainty for collaborative robotics. I'm interested in studying how AI agents can function under computational resource constraints imposed on perception and reasoning: for example,  humans do not see a visual scene as pixels, rather they are able to pick out objects of interest and selectively reason about them. How is this possible? and importantly... How does this influence decision-making?

One personal consideration of mine is the application of technology for social good. I am exploring ways technology can augment humans with greater insights and agency in the world (e.g. ensuring AI is socially aligned). My outreach mission statement is to design technology to elevate our shared, collective humanity.

Recent Life updates:

  • Jan 5th, 2022: Part-time work cofounding a coding academy in Morocco / developing a data science course curriculum with Draper Startup House. This is in my alignment with my mission by offering others great opportunities through technology across the world!

  • Dec 22nd, 2021: The launch went well (100+ live drivers in SG and UK), however, our operational costs make it difficult to scale to our target to raise another VC round so soon. We're exploring acquisition deals for JAMM.

  • July 13th, 2021: assembled a world-class team of 9 to build a platform for smart driving. The data pipeline and AI algorithms are in place. We do our product launch in Singapore with paid pilots in the United Kingdom.

  • February 25th, 2021: seed investment of $600k+ from Entrepreneur First to accelerate our growth in Singapore.

  • November 1st, 2020: pre-seed investment from Entrepreneur First to make JAMM a reality.

  • August 1st, 2020: Accepted into the Entrepreneur First Program in Singapore. A world-class talent incubator for deep technology startups.

  • June 12th, 2020: Presented our work on COVID-19 in a live global webinar as well as contributed a core mathematical model for the project.

  • March 26th 2020: Participating in Omdena's AI for Social Good COVID-19 challenge: collaboration with a world-class team of AI experts to design data-driven economic and health policy for effectively dealing with Coronavirus.

  • January 22nd 2020: Submitted Sample Bounds for Robust Multi-Object POMDP Planning via Rademacher Complexity to IJCAI 2020

  • September 18th 2019: First talk at the Adaptive Computing Lab

  • August 4th 2019: Moved to Singapore to start a year at the Adaptive Computing Lab under David Hsu under a fellowship grant.
